Silk Road Co-Chairs

The Co-Chairs of the Silk Road Committee provide the overall leadership and direction for the event. They reach out to corporations and individuals to build their financial support, chair the Planning Committee meetings, help develop the theme and elegance of the event and work closely with staff and committee members to create a successful and fun event.

Planning Committee

The Silk Road Planning Committee provides overall direction for the Silk Road Gala and ensures its success. It includes the co-chairs, subcommittee chairs, and ATASK staff.

Auction and Program Book

This subcommittee obtains contributions from various individuals and businesses for the silent auction and program book. Subcommittee members devise a strategy for soliciting items, follow-up to obtain items, package items, and produce the contents of the silent auction book. They also solicit greetings for the program book.

Logistics

This subcommittee is responsible for presenting a unified visual theme for the evening. The subcommittee also works to create an inspiring and exciting program for the Gala, including creating decorations, centerpieces and guest favors, locating entertainment, providing audiovisual expertise, recruiting volunteers, and managing registration.

Table Host

The Table Host Subcommittee contacts individuals to host a table or gather a group of family, friends, and colleagues to join filling a table at the gala.
