Some Truths For A Sweet Tooth

Some Truths for a Sweet Tooth is a youth-created and youth-implemented awareness, anti-dating violence, and anti-oppression project of the summer 2010 Youth Empowerment Project (YEP), a youth program under the umbrella of the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence (ATASK).  YEP is a Boston-area youth group dedicated to helping end violence and oppression of all kinds, and trained to support others in abusive and violent relationships.  ATASK is a nonprofit organization, working to end domestic violence in the Asian American community and to respectfully and appropriately support and advocate for survivors, their families and their friends.

If you love art, love sweets, and love to end violence, ATASK youth will be selling goodies and will be the featured artists at the Boston Progress Arts Collective’s (BPAC) open mic on the evening of Friday, August 13th, at 934 Mass Ave in Cambridge, 8-10PM.  The link to their site is:  http://bostonprogress.org
