The Japanese art of paper folding, origami, is centuries old. The crane is one of the most classic folds and is recognized internationally to represent peace. The story of 1,000 cranes originates from a folk legend that says if you fold 1,000 cranes, you will get your wish.
In collaboration with Meichi Peng Design, it is ATASK’s goal to fold 5,000 paper cranes to soar above the guests at the Silk Road Gala.
