2014 Silk Road Gala

Thanks to everyone who joined us!

Saturday, November 1, 2014
6:00 -10:00 pm

The John Joseph Moakley United States Courthouse
1 Courthouse Way, Boston, MA 02210

The Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence (ATASK) is dedicated to preventing domestic violence in Asian families and communities, and providing hope to survivors.  At this year's Silk Road Gala, ATASK celebrates the 20th Anniversary of our emergency shelter, New England’s only for pan-Asian families and communities.  As in past years, the Gala will be an opportunity for our community of supporters to gather together in good company for great food in a beautiful setting.

Suggested attire is culturally-festive or black tie optional. This is a masquerade event and if you would like to participate masks will be available, but guests are encouraged to bring their own.

Parking information:
There are many different options available in the area, including street parking. The lot immediately outside the Courthouse will have a very limited number of spots available, and the next closest facility is the Pilgrim Parking at One Marina Park Drive ($15).  However, we have negotiated discounted parking with LAZ at 390 Congress (entrance off of Boston Wharf Road) for $12/vehicle when presenting the Gala program upon exit.

If you are attending our event it is important that you bring a photo ID, as all guests will need to pass through security at the Federal building.

This year the Gala will begin at 6:00pm with a reception and guest chef food stations similar to past years, followed at 7:30pm by a seated dinner and program.  The event will conclude with dessert and tea/coffee offered at stations from around 9:00pm until the event end.
